nonnative and UNDERCOVER Explore “OZISM” in New Collaborative Capsule
Centering on a “Portrait of Modern Japanese” theme.
Jun Takahashi has reunited with Takayuki Fujii for another collaboration between UNDERCOVER and nonnative. Dubbed “OZISM,” the latest collection continues their appreciation of filmmaker Yasujiro Ozu’s distinct aesthetics. Centering a “Portrait of Modern Japanese” theme, the collaboration culminated in the form of a Fall/Winter 2024 capsule, featuring jackets, sweatsuits, footwear and winter accessories such as a scarf and a beanie.
Spotlighted pieces include the MONK Jacket, MONK Crew Long Pullover and the MONK Easy Pants. All three pieces come in a woolen blend materiality, boasting a relaxed silhouette that reimagined “workwear as everyday wear.” The jacket features a V-neck, with a slightly asymmetrical front zipper and a pocket on the inside of the left chest.
Meanwhile, the Monk Crew Long Pullover features a roomy fit, a kangaroo front pocket, thumb holes on the sleeves and side zippers. As for the MONK Easy Pants, it’s fitted with an elasticized, draw-cord waist, zipper side pockets as well as a concealed zipper on the inside of the hems for adjustability with wearing boots.
Prices range from ￥11,711 – ￥357,35 JPY (approx. $76 – $231 USD), the assortment of items is offered in three main colorways: Off-White, Olive and Dark Navy. The “OZISM” collection is now available to shop via UNDERCOVER’s webstore as well as select retail locations.
