Hood By Air Showed Its 2017 Spring/Summer Collection in a Marais Sex Club
“I’m just in the mood to relax a bit.”

Before Shane Oliver presented Hood by Air’s 2017 spring/summer collection in Paris, he explained, “I think that I’ve been pushing boundaries for quite a while, I’m just in the mood to relax a bit.” This was his rationale to hosting this year’s show in a bath house, rather than the traditional catwalk — he wanted to bring people to a sauna to relax. However, in an atmosphere decorated like a horror film set with red and green lighting and piercing industrial music, the crowd found it difficult to relax as models cut their way through the audience. Dressed in unlikely polo shirts, leather trench coats, thigh-highs, arm-slings, long zippers and tight dresses, the models eventually stripped down to take a plunge in the pool.
