Drake Ousts 50 Cent to Officially Join the "Forbes Five"
“Forbes list like every year, my office is my tour bus.”

Remember when Drake bragged about being only “25 and sitting on $25 mil?” Well, it appears that the rapper’s earning have far outpaced his age. Forbes announced today that the rapper born Aubrey Graham has joined its exclusive “Forbes Five” club of the five richest moguls in hip-hop. The 6 God joins the company of Diddy ($750M), Dr. Dre ($710M), Jay Z ($610M) and Birdman ($110M). Drake’s $60M net worth is attributed to various streams of income from his endorsements—Apple Music, Jordan Brand and Sprite chief among them—while his ventures include a hip Toronto restaurant, Fring’s, and a forthcoming whiskey called Virginia Black.
As far as assets are concerned, Drake has a booming merch empire and his Hidden Hills compound is valued at $8M USD.
Drake takes the place of 50 Cent, whose fading cultural relevance, legal troubles and reckless spending led him to burn through his vitaminwater money and declare bankruptcy last year.
Now it’s up to Drake to maintain his composure and business acumen and retain his spot at the high-roller’s table.
