The GEL Saga and GEL-Lyte V get a Tiffany & Co.-inspired makeover from Ronnie Fieg and Diamond Supply Co.
After a number of social media previews, Ronnie Fieg and Diamond Supply Co. have officially unveiled their collaborative takes on ASICS’ GEL Saga and GEL-Lyte V. Making use of Diamond’s signature Tiffany-inspired “Diamond Blue” hue, the collab combines KITH’s East Coast presence with Diamond’s foothold on the West Coast, blending the influence of both labels to craft two truly unique takes on the popular retro runners. Taking cues from skateboarding kicks, the GEL Saga sees a durable microperforated black leather and pigskin suede construction while the GEL-Lyte V opts for a more sportswear-esque make-up, pairing a “Diamond Blue” microperforated pigskin suede upper with a metallic silver heel wrap and asymmetrical formstripes on the lateral and medial sides. Completing the two pairs are reflective 3M accents, custom co-branded insoles, rubberized branding patches and multiple lace options.
Look for the collaborative GEL Saga and GEL-Lyte V to be available for $165 and $175 USD, respectively, beginning this Friday, June 19. All pairs purchased at KITH and Diamond Supply locations will come in custom “Diamond Blue” packaging with matching jewelry-inspired dust bags.
