Kidult Releases "Double Standards" T-Shirt Inspired by the Defacement of Paris's A.P.C. Store
The special tee memorializes the A.P.C. store tagging incident that targeted Jean Touitou’s racism controversy.

Earlier this year, graffiti artist Kidult tagged an A.P.C. location in Paris as a direct response to A.P.C. founder and creative director Jean Touitou‘s racism controversy surrounding the naming of his “Last Ni**as in Paris” collection. “NI**AS” and “Latin adj. ‘niger’; Contemptuous, offensive and racism for a black person” were spray-painted across the store’s display, and this month we’ll be seeing the release of a special tee that memorializes the incident. The “Double Standards” T-shirt is a standard black tee with red spray-painted lettering featured across the chest and the A.P.C. logo with Kidult’s skull symbol at the back. The “Double Standards” T-shirt will be released free of charge as a limited production run of 100 pieces on June 20 at Kidult’s online shop.
