A Partnership Between Kojima Productions and Sony Is Official
A new studio with legendary game maker Hideo Kojima at the helm, famed for creating ‘Metal Gear Solid.’

Sony has announced that it will officially be partnering with Kojima Productions, the new independent development studio of legendary game maker Hideo Kojima. Famed for creating the Metal Gear Solid games, Kojima previously held a contract with Konami, an agreement that was terminated today. Kojima Productions is now focused on developing a new title for PlayStation platforms and recently divulged over Twitter that the studio hopes to push boundaries “in innovation and ignite consumer interest worldwide.” Known for his visionary approach that integrates cinematic aesthetics into gameplay, the new project is bound to exceed all expectations.
