Alexander Wang x H&M Capsule Collection Lookbook

Additional looks from Alexander Wang‘s upcoming collection through global retail-clothing giant H&M have been released. As a whole, the collection is deeply rooted in further embellishing the most recent trend of merging sports with fashion, yet at the same time convincingly embodies Wang’s native aesthetic of minimalism, and of course uniform black. Pieces range from a snake print jersey tank top, shorts, and hooded sweatshirt to a solid black “Wang” logo sweatshirt, leggings, leather jacket, and what seems to be a 3M bubble jacket. However, the accessories are what grab the most attention. Staying true to the sporting motif, Wang has produced a leather high top sneaker, which takes the form of boxing shoes; solid black gloves, which are subtly being worn in almost every shot; two duffle bags in addition to a leather backpack; and a skull cap. The lookbook’s weight room setting adds a nice touch to the fashion-forward sports collection, and even has a bit of Wang DNA, as seen in the strong, black linear lines of the numbered weight equipment and floor detail. The Alexander Wang x H&M collection will be available to shop in 250 H&M stores worldwide, and online beginning November 6.
