When they dropped back in 2002, the so-called “Acorn” Air Force 1 Low was nearly impossible for collectors to get their hands on as they were almost entirely exclusive to the European market – that is until B-grades of the gem popped up in select outlet stores in the U.S. Like the iconic “Linen” look, the “Acorn” make-up is set to be resurrected by the Dunk under Nike‘s “Special Projects.” Reminiscent of the OG AF1s, the Dunks utilize a combination of premium brown leather and natural-colored linen-like canvas throughout the upper while a darker brown hue hits the lining, laces, tongue and rubber outsole. NSW’s “Acorn” Dunk High Premium SP is due to join the “Linen” version of the high-top at Japan’s atmos come September 28.
