Tourne de Transmission 2013 Fall/Winter "Substance" Video Lookbook

Tourne de Transmission channels its inner English major for Fall/Winter 2013 by unveiling “Substance,” a new video lookbook for the season. The brand drew inspiration from Jack London’s account of London city in 1903’s People of the Abyss, which recounts a time when the world was still profoundly steeped in the Industrial Revolution. As such, the English brand perpetuates its predominantly monochrome aesthetic, though it is interrupted with splashes of orange to represent iron ore – a favorite material of the early 20th century. Old-style newspaper prints are a recurring motif throughout, represented across Tourne de Transmission’s various shirts, trousers and sweaters.
