Celebrating 140 years of heritage, Levi’s recently presented an exhibition held at Dakanyama’s T-SITE GARDEN GALLERY in Tokyo. Commemorating the denim imprint’s rich history, the exhibition brought together treasurable pieces from Levi’s’ archive such as the 1986 Yves Saint Laurent Denim Jacket, 1951 Bing Crosby Tuxedo Jacket, 1992 DIFFA Trucker Jacket and 1973 Denim Art Contest Trucker Jacket. Alongside the rare items, the event saw the release of “The 501 Book” — a hardcover photo book showcasing interpretations of the iconic silhouette in different parts of the world. “The 501 Book” will hit selected stockists from September 20 onwards.
