CLOT x Converse First String 2013 Holiday “Chang Pao” Collection

Inspired by traditional Chinese formal wear, Converse and Hong Kong-based CLOT present a closer look at the forthcoming “Chang Pao” pack of Converse First String 1970s Chuck Taylor All Stars for Holiday 2013. Marking the fifth time the two parties have teamed up for a special drop, the “Chang Pao” collection includes off-white canvas and blue suede editions of the premium, retro high-top – each done up with a trio of Chang Pao-esque buttons, black laces, white rubber foxing, and a gum rubber outsole. Packed in custom boxes complete with a gold foil lid and printed dust bags, the CLOT x Converse First String Holiday 2013 “Chang Pao” Collection will be available in limited quantities beginning Thursday, October 31 at the JUICE Pop-Up store in Los Angeles – the only U.S. retailer to feature the product – before hitting JUICE’s Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur locations on Saturday, November 2. The kicks will then make their way to select Converse First String retailers worldwide the following Friday, November 8.
