Paris-based label KENZO is on a roll today, releasing not only its latest collaboration with New Era, but a limited capsule in conjunction with TOILETPAPER magazine. The Italian periodical is frequently cited for its off-color humor, which overlaps well with KENZO’s similarly obscure (though refreshing) approach to fashion. Here we find a crossover in a range of apparel and accessories, expressing humorous graphics such as hands at the bottom of trousers, heeled boots interpreted to look like dogs, or even a flag which borrows the all-seeing eye motif from KENZO’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection.
