CLOT x Converse First String 2013 Holiday "Chang Pao" Collection Preview

This holiday season CLOT and Converse have teamed up to present the “Chang Pao” collection. Marking the fifth collaboration between Converse and the HK-based streetwear label, this project features two special versions of the 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star, both of which are inspired by traditional Chinese Chang Pao formal wear. The first 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star features a blue suede upper with three Chang Pao-inspired buttons, gold, silver and white eyestay accents, and a gum outsole — a signature CLOT touch for its Converse collaborations. The second shoe features a classic white canvas upper with the same Chang Pao-inspired buttons, eyestay accents and gum outsole. Each shoe comes with special packaging that includes a printed dust bag and a shoe box with a gold foil lid. The “Chang Pao” collection will be launching first on October 31 as the JUICE LA Pop-Up, followed by a release at JUICE’s brick-and-mortar locations in Asia on November 2, and a global release at select Converse First String accounts on November 8.
