Outerspace wasted no time in filling the void left by Bread & Butter Barcelona as the new show took place last week. With a city with few rivals, Barcelona is often a well-received stop on the tradeshow tour as Outerspace complimented the surroundings with a massive sneaker showcase. A series of different collectors each contributed a number of their rare gems with some shoes dating back to the 1970’s and covering numerous brands.

  2. [...] Last week, we gave you a peek at some of the classic heat that was on display at the Outerspace Sneaker Expo exhibition in Barcelona, and now we have some more pics from the event, including some pretty rare gems. There were plenty of vintage Nikes to drool over including some OG Air Mariahs and Cortez’s, as well as some super-rare forgotten jewels like the Hawaii, Attack McEnroe and Finland. The picks of the litter though have to be the Air Jordan II prototype and the Air Python which actually looks more like the Air Jordan II than the aforementioned prototype. Also on display in this batch of photos are some classic Vans and Converse models and the crew that helped put all this together. Keep reading after the jump for a look at a ton of seldom seen vintage kicks. Via Hypebeast. [...]

These were shoes hat were bought before the hype machine of the internet. Shoes are only given “value” when the internet says they’re worth something now a days. Dkilos speaks half truth…

@ JohnnyXdunks…The boxed sneaks are the Air Pressures….the inspriration for the real McFlys! They had an air pump to plug in at the back…kinda like the Reebok Pumps. Google them….Nuts!

Nike has obviously past it’s prime. Taking a look back @ the good ol’ days will give fans nothing but sorrows. With that said, Fashion is for retards.

“Kids these days” are of their time. It’s not about being a die hard collector anymore. The art is disposable, so it’s only fitting that you buy what you want at the time it comes out. There’s no need to down the generation because they’re not like the generations before them.

  29. Posted by: dkilos on July 11, 2009 at 10:41 pm

these are some die hard collectors unlike all you kids that buy every nike sb that hits the shelf. yall make me sick
