Just hours before Sony’s official announcement at the E3 Convention, vital details into their new hand held video game console have leaked. Here, we get a look at the new PSP Go, which is due to ship out this Fall to Sony video game retailers. Confirmed details for the updated PSP include: a 3.8-inch display, 43% lighter body than the PSP-3000, 16GB of Flash storage, Built-in Bluetooth, Memory Stick Micro slot, Full PlayStation Network support, and Integration with the PlayStation 3 console.

    So far out of all the PSPs the 2000 model is the best. Its hackable, light, 64mb of ram, just like the PSP 3000 but without the better screen (who cares not much different). The 3000 model is not hackable BTW. I think this is just a cheap test model from Sony I believe that there will be a better model after this as I still believe there will be a PSP2.

    if the price is right i’d cop.
    i wish the music player interface would be better than the current PSP.
    this might replace the iPod…

    Can’t recall the last time I saw the words “hype” and “Sony” anywhere close to each other, 16gb is not enough storage, and they will probably scare everybody off with some astronomical price. Hackers, please do some justice.

    the GO wont replace the regular PSPs. Its just another PSP that you can buy if you want a smaller one. They will still make UMDs. But i want to know if it does have WIFI and how good is it going to be, the WIFI sucks on the other PSPs imo. the ipod touch wifi blows it out of the water.

    Where’s the battery compartment?
    What are people going to do with their collection of UMDs?

    I’ve already got a 16GB memory stick, so 16GB solid state, smaller screen and an even LIGHTER PSP isn’t attractive. I think my PSP-2000 is has a good weight to it (assuming it’s pretty much the same as PSP-3000).

    It doesn’t look all that ergonomic either, but that’s just my eyes telling me that.
