Matthew Williamson’s designer collection for H&M continues on May 14th with a Summer 2009 Collection. Following up on Williamson’s limited fashion range that was launched April 23rd in around 200 H&M stores, the respected London designer has created a special collection that will be available in around 1,600 H&M stores worldwide. The collection will be in store longer than any H&M designer collaboration before. Added to this, Williamson has also designed a menswear range for the first time in his career taking inspiration from his own wardrobe, mixing a dapper young gentleman’s style with hot colors and covetable ethnic influences.

    Lots of people wear scarves in summer. Muslim women. Skater dudes. Bandanna wearers. Hip hop fans. Haven’t you heard of hijab? or a ‘doo-rag’ ? duh. Check out Henrik Vibskov’s scarves if you want to see how some are worn by some.

    the jacket isn;t leather. i work at h&m and its just like this denim material thats like coated. we have a jacket like it and it looks real cheap.

    Looks like some great pieces, the key will be if the HM staff can keep the area looking neat and presentable. On the rare occasions I venture into HM things are looking sad, dull and messy. My favorite HM designer piece is from the Lagerfeld collection, hard to get better than that, this collection looks more trend orientated than classic.
