Despite some costly errors in their past which led to them losing a large portion of market share, Palm and their fabled lines of PDAs are back for another run at it. While the term “iPhone” killer has been thrown around quiet liberally, the Palm Pre seems to have carried the momentum with this statement beyond the initial CES hype. Some of the phone’s design elements that will hopefully enable it to trump the mighty iPhone include a physical slide-out QWERTY keyboard, strong multi-tasking interface as well as strong interconnectability with existing online programs. Of course with things like these, everybody should wait until after the release date to see how things go.
