Although never having the opportunity to visit The Hundreds second addition to their growing empire, The Hundreds San Francisco, the pictures have provided a small sense of what the retail experience entails. However I’m pretty sure not amount of visual will replace the actual experience as you venture into the cave. The extensive design process has recently been outlined by Bobby Hundreds as the steps from start to finish is outlined. With a theme of creating an amusement park ride inspired by Indiana Jones, The Goonies and 2001, for many I’m sure the goal has been well achieved.
Although a group shot revealed exactly what was in store come the initial shipment of WTAPS x Vans Syndicate releases starting this month, detail shots were sparse. Here’s a look into the upcoming Bash, set to release this June. WTAPS had complete control and direction for this latest Syndicate collection as the Bash fuses late 80s/early 90s hip hop culture with high end and street fashion. The colorways were chosen to represent the era with highlights including a revamped checkerboard pattern. Look for this to hit Tokyo’s Blackflag in Aoyama this weekend.

In honor of the widely successful Glow in the Dark Tour featuring Kanye West, N*E*R*D, Lupe Fiasco and Rihanna, watch brand Nooka re-worked their Zub watch in a special Glow in the Dark finish. The watches were given as a gift to Kanye and company at the completion of the tour last Saturday in Los Angeles. The Zub watch is among the latest in popular watch styles which utilize more abstract time-telling methods with the use of changing LED bars to denote the time. With only 15 watches produced, a larger release is more then unlikely.
While the MACKDADDY x FLAUGE x Reebok Reverse Jam of December took a relatively tame route in easing in the at the time newly inaugurated retro model, the three parties have pulled out all the stops for their second-coming. The Reverse Jam is revisited once again, however as opposed to the simplicity of a black/white colorway they’ve chosen a poppy yellow color to serve as the basis with pink highlights throughout to finish things off. These will be available exclusively through FLAUGE.
