In honor of the widely successful Glow in the Dark Tour featuring Kanye West, N*E*R*D, Lupe Fiasco and Rihanna, watch brand Nooka re-worked their Zub watch in a special Glow in the Dark finish. The watches were given as a gift to Kanye and company at the completion of the tour last Saturday in Los Angeles. The Zub watch is among the latest in popular watch styles which utilize more abstract time-telling methods with the use of changing LED bars to denote the time. With only 15 watches produced, a larger release is more then unlikely.

While the MACKDADDY x FLAUGE x Reebok Reverse Jam of December took a relatively tame route in easing in the at the time newly inaugurated retro model, the three parties have pulled out all the stops for their second-coming. The Reverse Jam is revisited once again, however as opposed to the simplicity of a black/white colorway they’ve chosen a poppy yellow color to serve as the basis with pink highlights throughout to finish things off. These will be available exclusively through FLAUGE.
With the recent beginnings of the 2008 European Championships, most of the world regardless of geographic location is most likely tuned in to watch some of the best national talents outside of the World Cup. In accordance with the belief that art and football go hand in hand, Nike 1/1 was created to converge football and art together in a series of visual presentations. Providing the power of curation in the hands of Nick Knight, Knight and 5 other artists would becoming the founding members of the Nike 1/1 project which debuted in Milan back in April. The debut also included 11 new contributing artists. However, a sense of interactivity was brought in as budding artists from around the world contributed their own visions of football and art with a further 11 artists chosen. Now showing in Paris, the Art of Football Exhibition features 26 pieces of football inspired art in a showcase wrapping up on the 17th of June.

Bape just released a new pair of shoes for the summer. These are definitely unique, looking like a combination of sneakers and sandals. The shoe comes in the usual bright Bape colors and patterns with blue stripes and red polka dots, and a yellow Bapesta logo on the sides. A great release for the hot, summer times so you can cool your feet but still fool people thinking you’re wearing sneakers. Available now at Cliffedge.
These Vans Sk8-His are a result of a collaboration between Vans and Niagara, a Detroit based artist and musician. A founding member of the proto-punk band Destroy All Monsters, she has of late risen to notoriety through her artwork. A cynical mix of Lichtenstein style comic strip women & riot girl attitudes, her pieces are highly sought after in the Lowbrow art scene. The Sk8-Hi model juxtaposes a subtle black color scheme with splashes of bright yellow and red mixed in with artwork depicting martini glasses and glass bottles. Sure to be an attention grabbing release, these have already released at DQM.
