Niagara x Vans SK8-Hi
These Vans Sk8-His are a result of a collaboration between Vans and Niagara, a Detroit based artist and musician. A founding member of the proto-punk band Destroy All Monsters, she has of late risen to notoriety through her artwork. A cynical mix of Lichtenstein style comic strip women & riot girl attitudes, her pieces are highly sought after in the Lowbrow art scene. The Sk8-Hi model juxtaposes a subtle black color scheme with splashes of bright yellow and red mixed in with artwork depicting martini glasses and glass bottles.
