Kid Cudi Breaks Foot After Jumping Off Stage at Coachella
The incident occurred during a performance of “Memories.”
Kid Cudi’s Coachella performance was cut short after he jumped off stage and broke his foot. Towards the end of his set, Cudi attempted to dismount while performing “Memories” but didn’t quite land as intended – in videos, one foot appeared to give out and he fell onto the ground.
Two security guards helped carry Cudi away from the scene and he was unable to finish his performance.
Cudi posted on X later in the evening, telling fans he had broken his foot.
“Hey guys, so I broke my foot today at the show [forehead smack emoji]. just leavin the hospital,” he wrote in a post shared a little after midnight. “Never broken a bone before so this is all a bit crazy. I wanna thank u all for ur concerns and well wishes!! I love yall man. I heard yall still ragin when I was offstage. Made me smile big.”
The artist thankfully seems to be in good spirits. He also only had the remainder of “Memories” and one another long left in his setlist, so fans were able to hear the majority of Cudi’s show.
