Timex Launches Watch Collaboration with MM6 Maison Margiela
Reimagining the T80 model as a sleek wristwatch and ring.
Timex is on the roll with surprising releases this week. After unveiling a one-dollar Waterbury timepiece, the American watch brand now announces its collaboration with MM6 Maison Margiela.
Aptly named the Timex x MM6 Maison Margiela collection, the release features two distinct offerings, the T80 Steel Watch and the T80 Ring Watch. Clad in stainless steel, the T80 Ring, priced at $180 USD, is fitted with an expansion band that caters to different ring sizes. The face of the watch features a digital display, gently framed by a co-branded mirrored mask.
Retailing for $200 USD, the T80 Steel Watch comes in a gift set with an additional stainless steel bracelet. Coming in a 34mm case size, the watch stars a mirror finish and a display that’s implemented with INDIGLO® backlight. Echoing the design of the display, the clasp in the steel bracelet also features Margiela’s numerical signature in engraving.
Starting October 24, both models will be available for purchase via Timex and MM6 Maison Margiela’s websites. The watches will also be shoppable at a handful of MM6 boutiques as well as select retailers.
