Street artist and legend KAWS has lent his considerable artistic talent and star presence to several different types of outlets including art galleries and clothing lines. KAWS now sets his sights on print media as he collaborates with i-D magazine for the largest magazine project he has taken on to date. The July issue has KAWS assuming a role much different than just showcasing what he can do with a can of paint. KAWS actually interviews A Bathing Ape empire head Nigo in a conversation that shows what happens when two artistic mavericks have a conversation. Also, the printing job on the magazine is bathed in bright hues that compliment KAWS trademark artwork.
The Original Fake website has revealed a graphic of what we assume will be a new t-shirt from the brand. The graphic shows the KAWS Dissected Companion figure split into nine squares. If you already own the toy, then this tee might compliment your collection.
Seen over a few different instances over the last year, a new batch of the massive Original Fake Kaws Companion vinyl is set to release. The 4 foot toy will reemerge tomorrow at kawsone.com, however US domestic orders only. Questions regarding this item can be directed to shop@kawsone.com.
Here we’re showing you a preview design from OriginalFake for their 2008 F/W collection. The design features many of Kaw’s signature graphics including the dollar bill design that we’ve previously shown you guys. It also showcases a pink heart in the center being pierced by it’s own anchor.

We have already seen a slew of awesome products created for the 2nd anniversary of Original Fake including the Original Fake x Visvim backpack, the Original Fake x Stussy sunglasses, the Original Fake x Supreme Kate Moss tee and many others. Now, here’s a first look from the Original Fake website of the highly anticipated 2nd anniversary Companion figure. We’re not quite sure how large this one will be but from the looks of it, it seems to be around the same size as the 4ft Companion figure that was released last year. No word on when this figure will be released but look for it to hit the Original Fake store soon.
A comprehensive look into Original Fake’s 2nd anniversary collection has been released. No stranger to big time collaborations, the items include a t-shirt with Kate Moss and Supreme, a Ballistic V-Bag with Visvim, denim with Levi’s and frames with Stussy. Each product is not without Original Fake’s strong branding including Chomper and Bendy designs.

The artist KAWS has collaborated with the English high fashion boutique, Dover Street Market to create a new t-shirt. The tees feature a Dover Street Market logo character designed by KAWS. The tees will be available starting March 19th at Dover Street Market.
