The CLOT duo Edison Chen and Kevin Poon continue to bridge the gap between the East and the West. What started out as a promise to not work for “the man” after university, has manifested into physical form; with the fashion outpost JUICE, and their in-house clothing label CLOT. All things considered, it’s amazing to think that the duo were pushing styles and cultures to the Asian market some decade-and-half ago. While the two have taken more of a behind-the-scenes approach now, the CLOT/JUICE imprint continue to release projects with its long-time partners and friends. This year saw collaborations with adidas Consortium, Nike, Jordan Brand, Converse, and Sacai. The fruits of their labor were also realized as CLOT presented its first runway show in celebration of 15 years, at New York Fashion Week: Mens FW18. The opening of JUICE Los Angeles was just the beginning as we can expect a much larger global presence in the future for Kevin Poon and Edison Chen.
