In what seamingly seems like another lifetime ago, Edison Chen once enjoyed a bustling career as an actor/rapper in his native China. Stepping away from the glitz and glamor of show business, Chen relocated to Los Angeles, where he gained a new appreciation for fashion and street culture. Heavily influenced from the now converging worlds of hip-hop and contemporary art, Chen founded CLOT, a Hong Kong-based streetwear imprint that spans not only clothing but artistic visuals by way of exhibitions. At home in his role as a fashion forward entrepreneur, Chen and his fledging label have since collaborated with such visionaries as Cali Thornhill Dewitt, Hood by Air, Nike, adidas and BAPE while continuing to push the boundaries of modern day streetwear. Reaching all new highs in 2016, CLOT has churned out innovative projects alongside Champion, SUICOKE and P.A.M. while also presenting its very first fashion show in Paris for the unveiling of its 2017 spring/summer range.
