Jun Takahashi saw his label UNDERCOVER reach a monumental milestone in 2015 with its 25th anniversary. Showing no signs of slowing down, the godfather of streetwear took 2016 head-on with ambitious fervor. This year’s accolades are too many to mention, but some standouts include the release of his “Greatest” spring/summer collection; the unveiling of a furniture line; and the many collaborations that included one with Supreme. On the retail front, he also celebrated the one-year anniversary of MADSTORE with a series of concept pop-up shops. It’s safe to mention that Mr. Takahashi had everything covered in 2016.
