Balmain is a French luxury fashion label that was founded by Pierre Balmain, in 1945. One of Balmain’s first objectives was to dress ‘women in the right look for the right moment’. Balmain’s elegant, feminine designs and looks were favourites amongst influencers such as Marlene Dietrich, Katharine Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot and Sophia Loren.
