atmos turns the On Cloudmonster silhouette into a study of Japanese landscape design for their latest collaboration. Inspired by karesansui, or Japanese dry gardens, the two-pair pack arrives in “Eclipse/Olive” and “Dew/Olive,” with flowing concentric lines sweeping across each waterproof upper to evoke ripples moving across water or patterns raked into sand.
The darker “Eclipse” pair layers black and charcoal across the toe and upper, softened by an olive green collar, while “Dew” takes a warmer approach with a khaki foundation, brown contour lines, an off-white forefoot and matching olive accents. Despite their contrasting moods, both maintain a muted, natural palette that allows the undulating graphic treatment to become the visual focus.
Underneath, the collaboration retains the Cloudmonster 1 Waterproof’s exaggerated CloudTec® cushioning system, paired with supportive Helion™ foam and a Speedboard® designed to add responsiveness underfoot. Waterproof-treated uppers prepare both pairs for wetter conditions, while Missiongrip™ outsoles provide traction across dry and rain-soaked surfaces, giving the garden-inspired aesthetic a functional foundation.
