Calvin Klein’s New Season Leather Is Crafted With Minimalism in Mind
The tailored jackets and trousers land at Zalando alongside classic basics.
Known for sharp silhouettes and understated elegance, Calvin Klein’s classically clean aesthetic is appearing in leather pieces this season, from tailored jackets to staple trousers.
Now available at Zalando, the latest styles blend influences from its minimalist 90s archives, where leather blazers, biker jackets, and matching pants provided a uniform for evoking confidence. Giving the capsule a contemporary edge, heavy-weight outerwear, like bombers, is crafted from faux crinkle-style leather for textural detail, while the cut is adapted through elongated collars and an oversized shape.
In the brand’s more architectural pieces, blazers and barrel-leg trousers take on a supple faux leather for a sleek, put-together look. Mid-layers are formed of faux suede shirts, which give designs a lighter feel without sacrificing their noticeably soft feel.
Zalando’s latest campaign, which was shot at its OFFLINE Berlin event with Lourdes Leon, captures the new leather pieces in real life. Sharing an authentic look at how they’re worn, the imagery shows jackets and trousers effortlessly styled with Calvin Klein’s new ribbed tank tops, jersey T-shirts and long-sleeve tops.
