Tommy Hilfiger and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design have officially announced their first collaborative collection, titled Tommy Hilfiger x FRGMT. Paying homage to 1990s New York hip-hop culture and street kids reinterpreting classic prep wardrobes, the apparel lineup combines Tommy’s heritage American DNA with Fujiwara’s streetwear sensibilities.
The central design modification swaps Tommy Hilfiger’s signature red hue for the light blue shade favored by Fujiwara. Key garments in the capsule include denim-paneled outerwear stamped with fragment design’s double thunderbolt emblem, a polka-dot field jacket, and a classic cable-knit sweater. Rooted in nautical signal flag research from Tommy’s historical archives, initial samples were developed in Japan before being refined during collaborative work sessions at Tommy Hilfiger’s headquarters in Amsterdam.
Designed with loose, relaxed cuts, the silhouettes are built to be worn oversized without hesitation. The lineup merges classic 1985 American preppy codes with street-ready proportions, offering a fresh, contemporary perspective on heritage lifestyle apparel.
The Tommy Hilfiger x FRGMT collection officially releases on October 15, via Tommy Hilfiger’s online store, select retail locations, and global pop-ups. MYTOMMY members can access early online purchasing starting at on October 14.
