Miu Miu is digging into its archives once again, reviving the Bubble Shoe for Fall/Winter 2026.

Originally introduced in the early 2000s, the Bubble Shoe returns with a softer, more deconstructed construction. The upper has been refined in supple leather and suede with light padding throughout, balancing the comfort of an everyday sneaker with Miu Miu’s signature elevated finish. Technical cotton laces, complete with contrast-dipped tips, add another playful detail alongside the house’s understated branding.

The standout version, however, is the Nylon Ricamo and Scamosciato edition first unveiled on Miu Miu’s FW26 runway in Paris. Finished with jeweled embroidery across the upper, the silhouette pushes the sporty archive model further into the luxury space without losing its athletic DNA.

Underfoot, Miu Miu has also reworked the Bubble’s defining sole. Updated with lightweight construction and layered translucent detailing, the sculpted outsole feels noticeably more contemporary while retaining the fluid lines that made the original stand out more than two decades ago.

Blending archival sportswear with the playful femininity that’s come to define the house under Miuccia Prada, the revived Bubble Shoe is another reminder that some of fashion’s best ideas simply need the right moment to return.
