These specialized motors drastically undercut traditional radial flux designs in both physical footprint and weight. The resulting packaging allows for significantly higher power density, highly precise torque vectoring across the axles and a substantially lower overall ride height to benefit aerodynamic efficiency.
Raw output reaches hypercar territory with the top-tier GT63 variant generating a staggering 1,153 horsepower alongside 1,475 lb-ft of torque. This immense thrust catapults the grand tourer from zero to 60 mph in a blistering 2.0 seconds. Performance sustains itself through Formula 1-derived battery technology. A 106-kWh pack utilizes a specialized full-tab cell design and advanced thermal regulation to manage extreme power loads consistently. The integrated 800-volt system unlocks ultra-fast 600-kW charging capabilities to replenish the massive battery from 10 to 80 percent capacity in just 11 minutes.
To harness the immense straight-line speed and maintain signature AMG driving dynamics, the GT 4-Door utilizes an arsenal of advanced chassis hardware. Standard equipment includes an adaptive active air suspension system, semi-active roll stabilization and up to six degrees of rear-wheel steering for enhanced agility in tight sectors.
Inside the cabin, digital integration takes precedence. A central 14.0-inch multimedia monitor pairs with a 10.2-inch driver instrument cluster while buyers can spec an optional third display exclusively for the front passenger.
