In celebrating its upcoming 50th anniversary, BEAMS has tapped Seiko for a special limited-edition King Seiko KSK model. The piece, which goes by the reference number SDKA025, derives its aesthetic cues from a “BEAMING” theme, a nod to the linguistic roots of the BEAMS brand name.
House in a sharp, multi-faceted case design that has defined the King Seiko KSK since its 1965 debut, the watch stars a striking black dial with a textured pattern that mimics radiating rays of light. Gold‑tone hands, logo and pyramid‑cut indexes radiate against the dial, creating a striking interplay of brilliance. The case measures 38.6mm in diameter and 10.7mm thick, offering a balanced profile, while the sapphire crystal with anti‑reflective coating ensures clarity.
The time-teller is powered by Seiko’s Caliber 6L35, the brand’s thinnest automatic movement, delivering a 45‑hour power reserve and precision of +15 to –10 seconds per day. The caseback comes engraved with the King Seiko shield, “BEAMS Limited Edition” and an individual serial number, underscoring its exclusivity.
Scheduled to release February 6, 2026, this limited edition is currently available for pre-order through BEAMS with a retail price of ¥440,000 JPY (approx. $2,788 USD).
