Nike Reveals the Air Max 1000 Multicolor
Introducing dual-color printing to the innovative sneaker made in collaboration with Zellerfeld.
Summary
- Zellerfeld and Nike have updated their Air Max 1000 sneaker, creating a new Multicolor version of the model
- This upgrade allows for dual-color printing to expand color composition possibilities
- No specific release details have been shared other than that it will be debuting on shelves later this year
Zellerfeld and Nike have done it again. The duo revealed their first 3D-printed sneaker, the Air Max 1000, back in 2024. Since then, several monochromatic renditions of the innovative shoe have dropped. Now, the Swoosh has revealed that a Multicolor version of the model is on the way.
This new breakthrough introduces dual-color printing, expanding colorway possibilities. With previous iterations, the color selections were determined by materials and parts. Here, color is printed directly onto the shoe. Zonal color control is possible thanks to Zellerfeld’s multicolor 3D printing technology, allowing the existing design to evolve in a natural way. A sample colorway pictured here depicts how an all-black shoe can be seamlessly adorned with lavender at the sole and mudguard.
Look out for the Nike Air Max 1000 Multicolor to make its retail debut later this year via Nike SNKRS and Zellerfeld. In the meantime, stay tuned for updates, including the unveiling of additional compositions.
