Summary

  • Zellerfeld and Nike, hot off of bringing the Air Max 1000 to the masses in August, are back with another colorway of the 3D-printed sneaker
  • “Lilac” is the newest addition to not only the duo’s collaboration, but Zellerfeld’s proprietary 3D-printing platform as a whole
  • The shoe will release via Zellerfeld on October 21 at a price of $179 USD, with a raffle to purchase opening on October 16

It’s been nearly a year since Zellerfeld and Nike surprised the sneaker world with the unveiling of the Air Max 1000, the Swoosh’s first 3D-printed sneaker. After limited launches, the design made its global debut back in August. Now, it’s back for another drop.

The Air Max 1000’s third global colorway is a rich purple “Lilac.” This color is new to the Zellerfeld lexicon and combines with pink at the branded Air unit. Part of what makes the sneaker so unique is that it is printed in one seamless piece thanks to Zellerfeld’s proprietary 3D-printing platform. It is also laceless and features tonal Swoosh and “AIR” branding.

For those looking to pick up a pair, Zellerfeld’s new Nike Air Max 1000 is set to drop in this “Lilac” look next week. However, raffle sign-ups via Zellerfeld open up on October 16. Winners will then be notified on October 21 to purchase their pair at the standard retail price of $179 USD.
