MoneyGram Haas F1 Team is celebrating Japan’s iconic cherry blossom season with a special sakura-themed livery on its VF-25 car for the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix. The custom design, paying homage to the country’s beloved spring flower, will be showcased throughout race week at Suzuka, both on the car and across the team’s digital platforms.

The Japanese Grand Prix, now a spring fixture on the Formula 1 calendar, returns to the legendary Suzuka Circuit — a high-speed, figure-of-eight track known for its technical demands and passionate fans. Following a strong showing in Shanghai, where Esteban Ocon and rookie Oliver Bearman finished fifth and eighth, respectively.

“This is one of the most challenging circuits we visit all season,” said Team Principal Ayao Komatsu. “We’re coming in with momentum, but also realism, knowing our car still has issues to overcome.”

Ocon, who has a best finish of P4 at Suzuka, called it his favorite track, praising its history, layout and enthusiastic supporters. Bearman, set for his Suzuka debut, tested there with Super Formula in late 2024 and is eager to return: “The track comes alive, and the fan support is next level—even during a test.”

Notably, the unique livery marks the first custom design of the 2025 F1 season and will make its official debut this Sunday, April 6.
