Fanatics Drops Ultra Rare Nike MLB Sakura Elite Jerseys From the Takashi Murakami Collaboration
Limited to less than 40 pieces and going for $2000 USD per piece.

Fanatics is dropping a limited edition Nike MLB Sakura Elite jersey.
As a part of the Takashi Murakami x MLB Tokyo Series Collection, the ultra-rare collection highlights the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers. Limited to just under 40 jerseys, going for $2,000 USD a piece, the graphics take on Murakami’s iconic signature aesthetic, featuring his floral artwork and playful motifs molded into 3D silicone patches throughout. Just recently, Fanatics gifted Tom Brady and Travis Scott one of the limited jerseys, teasing what is to come for the rest.
The collection will be available on the Fanatics App, both in various player and size options. All of the pieces are individually numbered with patches embroidered onto the jerseys in the respective team fonts. Fans enter the product drop, select the item they want from the available quantity and check-out, but will only be charged if they are selected. The drop window will conclude on March 17 at 12pm ET, with all customers notified later that day if they have scored the jersey or not. The drop adds to the Murakami-inspired products that were launched earlier this month on the app.
Look out for the limited edition jerseys on the app.
