‘Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2’ Game Launches This Summer

A release date has finally been announced for SEGA’s second Demon Slayer fighting action-adventure game.
Co-developed with CyberConnect2, the new game will cover everything from the Entertainment District Arc, the Swordsmith Village Arc to the Hashira Training Arc in story mode. In addition to that, over 40 characters, including all nine Hashiras, will be available as playable characters in VS Mode.
Digital pre-orders will begin today for PlayStation platforms in multiple editions. The Digital Deluxe Edition will include the base game, various character unlock keys and exclusive content such as VS Mode System Voice for Upper-Rank Demons and battle attire costumes. Additionally, pre-order bonuses offer advanced access starting on July 31, 2025 and additional character unlock keys for Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji.
The Digital Standard Edition will feature the base game and two Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Keys, along with the pre-order bonus of character unlock keys for Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji. A physical edition will also be available for pre-order and will also include the base game plus two character unlock keys in the limited-time launch version.
Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is scheduled for launch in North America and Europe on August 5, 2025 and it will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam and the Nintendo Switch family of systems.
