Beloved New York City pizzeria Scarr’s Pizza and Nike are re-releasing their much-anticipated Air Force 1 Low collaboration, according to a new rumor shared by Sneaker News. A crossover for pizza enthusiasts and sneaker lovers alike, the two find themselves as a staple cultural pillar. Originally released in 2019 for friends and family, this pair of AF1s is now releasing for the general public. The shoe has gained great popularity since its first reveal, even popping up at auctions. The shop is a iconic pizza joint located in Manhattan’s Lower East Side and has been known for their New York-style pizza. Engrained as a part of the New Yorker culture, the sneaker continues to be a timeless piece that blends Scarr’s Pizza shop’s blue and orange colors with the AF1 design. The branding is seen on the heel counter while the phrase, “We Got This” is stitched into the heel lining on the right foot and “Word is Bond” is stitched on the left heel. The shoe’s Swoosh and heel tab feature the pizza shop’s own branding in blue and orange, adding a pop of color to contrast the all-white leather upper.
