ASICS has been on a roll lately. The athletic brand has tossed up new iterations of its GT-2160, Kiko Kostadinov US5-S GEL-QUANTUM KINETIC collaboration and more. Now the brand is leaning into its signature GEL-NYC silhouette by dipping it in “Indigo.”

As the name suggests, the new colorway is done up in vivid blue shades. Comprised largely of mesh and suede, the shoe sees bold hues of cobalt, baby blue and baby blue. While the blue shades largely wash through the many suede components, the colors are balanced out by elements of white that grace the mesh areas. Further adding a touch of color balance is the white rubber midsole and black rubber outsole. But what also stands out about the new forthcoming release is that it was also designed in part by Angelo Baque and his brand Awake NY.

Take a look at the blue-hued new colorway in the gallery above. Retailing fro $140 USD, ASICS’ GEL-NYC “Indigo” is set to release on May 16 through Foot Locker. Details about its release via ASICS are forthcoming, so stay tuned.
