Cultural iconoclast – with a specific taste for culinary curation – MR CHOW  has unveiled his first foray into the fashion space. Created in collaboration with his wife Vanessa Chow, MR CHOW, aka M, has expertly intermingled high food and high fashion in his inaugural clothing collection, fusing the two realms through his connection to the art ether.

“Every detail is a universe,” M noted of the collection. “And this clothing line is nothing short of meticulous detail and striving for excellence.”

The collection spans t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and joggers – each of which is pre-shrunk and available in both black and white colorways. T-shirts and hoodies are stamped with artwork from Andy Warhol and Helmut Newton – two of M’s creative collaborators and inspirations – on the backside, as well as a MR CHOW logo on the front.

Warhol’s iconic 1985 portrait of M stands out amidst the collection. “He asked me what colors I want, and I said hold the color and give me lots of diamond dust,” recalled M of working with Warhol.

Newton’s “Doctor M. Chow, Operating” from 1997 sees the chef performing acupuncture on a model.  Take a closer look at the collection in the gallery above.

“This collection is the culmination of a labor of love infused with a deep admiration for fashion and art. It’sa manifestation of a vision I’ve long nurtured that embodies creative spirit and bold ambition,” said Vanessa Chow. “Working in collaboration with Michael is a fusion of our shared love for artistic expression, and this is only a prelude to collections, collaborations, and visionary ideas that await. The goal is to redefine luxury and leave a mark on the fashion world and beyond.”
