New Balance's 327 Suits Up With "Rain Cloud" Uppers

An overcast makeover for the lifestyle silhouette.

The popular New Balance 327 has surfaced in a grayscale-focused “Rain Cloud” and Metallic Silver” colorway. This latest iteration emerges shortly after the lifestyle model was produced in a Summer-y palette in collaboration with women’s athleisure imprint STAUD.

The presentation of this latest installment is understated in every sense. Uppers are composed with a breathable mesh material which serves as the base and comes overlaid with smooth suedes, both of which are drenched in a foggy “Rain Cloud” hue. Mesh throats and its accompanying shoe laces deviate with angelic finishes, while another hint of gray lands across the tongue branding. A debossed New Balance hit also arrives on the lower medial heel area in tonal fashion. To get more playful, oversized “N” logo that sits on the lateral panel is given a “Metallic Silver” coating. Below this layer comes a midsole that is given a barely-gray tint, in addition to a traditional waffle outsole that is completely dyed in black.

If you’re interested in scooping up a pair for your rotation, you can find these available right now via New Balance for a wallet-friendly $90 USD.
