'A Quiet Place Part II' Will Now Release Much Sooner Than Anticipated
After several delays.
A Quiet Place Part II‘s release date has been moved to a closer date. Back in January, Paramount announced it would delay the release of the upcoming film due the COVID-19 pandemic, but the production company has decided that it would instead move foward with the movie and bring its release to a closer time.
Director John Krasinski, who also stars in the film, announced the good news on Twitter: “They always say good things come to those who wait. Well… I think we’ve waited long enough. A QUIET PLACE PART II. MEMORIAL DAY.” The film’s official Twitter account also posted, “Friday, May 28th” to affirm Krasinki’s tweet.
The movie will be a continuation of Part I, as “the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.”
They always say good things come to those who wait. Well… I think we’ve waited long enough.
