Watch the New Trailer to Netflix's 'Shaman King' Reboot
20 years since its original debut.
Shaman King will be coming to Netflix, and it’s released a new trailer.
After 20 years since its debut, Hiroyuki Takei’s classic manga is being brought back to life in a reboot. At the time the original anime was being aired on TV, the manga went on hiatus and forced animators to come up with an ending of their own. With Netflix’s new adaptation, however, there’s a real chance for the anime to properly follow the manga’s ending. The trailer is roughly a minute and a half and offers a good look at some of the anime’s main characters — like Yoh Asakura and Amidamaru — while teasing some key plot points from the upcoming show.
Shaman King is slated for April in Japan, but those in North America can expect to wait a little longer — Netflix will announce an international release date in the near future.
In case you missed it, here’s a look at the upcoming anime’s promotional video unveiled back in December.
