Brooklyn’s Dashiel Brahmann serves up a Fall/Winter 2019 collection indicative of the designer’s evolving approach to reworking classic menswear pieces. Timeless suiting and approachable staples are upgraded with peerless textiles and a hands-on approach to craft, accented by plenty of winter-ready outerwear.

Cropped trousers lend the looks a youthful edge, while trim T-shirts and boxy work jackets hearken back to classic garments of the mid-20th century. Handstitched contrasting accents, elastic waists and dangling chains on the slacks add dynamic detailing to the undemanding pieces, bolstered by screenprinted graphics and luxe touches like mouton collars. Knee-length coats and sleek blazers form the basis of the heavyweight layers, while the effortless overshirts offer seasonless appeal, cut to fit neatly underneath a jacket or breezily atop a tee.

The Fall/Winter 2019 collection hits Dashiel Brahmann’s website and stockists like Pilgrim Surf + Supply later this year.
