Moschino x H&M Serves Up Gold Chains, Jorts and DJ Donald Duck
Jeremy Scott’s fun-loving attitude informs the entire range.
Under Jeremy Scott‘s direction, Moschino has become the fashion world’s prime outlet for over-the-top, playful design. To bring its message to the people, the Italian label has joined fast-fashion juggernaut H&M for a selection of eye-grabbing gear.
Prints are key to the collection, with gold chains, CDs, collaborative branding, and even condoms (“READY TO WEAR”) accenting the myriad layering pieces. Plenty of Disney stars get in on the action as well, with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto all suiting up in slouchy overalls and football jerseys. The clothing itself runs the gamut from leather overalls to sweatsuits to loose carpenter jeans crafted in washed denim, with more glitzy items appearing in the form of gold chain-trimmed leather jackets and puffy sequin parkas. MTV‘s logo meets Moschino on black slide sandals, complemented by tall leather boots, massive backpacks and trucker hats sporting brims emblazoned with gold “MOSCHINO” lettering.
The complete collection will hit H&M’s website on November 8.
Elsewhere, Disney tapped Will Smith as Genie for the upcoming live-action Aladdin.
