Damir Doma Emphasizes Modern Tailoring & Luxe Activewear For SS19
A “warmer, more human” approach from the label.
Last year, Damir Doma focused on bold prints and loose construction for the unveiling of its Spring/Summer 2018 collection. For the seasonal followup to this year’s Spring/Summer range, the fashion house returns without an existentially-minded, minimalist-leaning Spring/Summer 2019 collection.
Specifically, Damir Doma’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection shines the spotlight on contemporary tailoring, luxe activewear and on-trend fits. “After 12 years, you get to the point where you must redefine and remind yourself who you are,” reads a statement from Damir Doma, who later emphasizes a “warmer, more human” approach to fashion. Notably, this latest Damir Doma lineup is heavy on collaborations: Master-Piece helped design the “netted bags,” Officine Creative worked on the “hybrid desert boots” and sandals, and Mykita supplied the sunglasses.
