Daily Paper Returns to South Africa for Spring/Summer 2018
Shot in Cape Town.
Late last month, Daily Paper shined the spotlight on its hometown’s youth culture for the “Unite” promotional visual. Continuing to support its Spring/Summer 2018 lineup, the Amsterdam-based label returns to South Africa for the official Spring/Summer 2018 showcase.
Shot in Cape Town, Daily Paper’s Spring/Summer 2018 editorial further explores the concept of “transcending borders” and keeps the focus on burgeoning creative and youth movements. Notably, members from Lesotho’s Basotho tribal community take part in Daily Paper’s new lookbook and model the Spring/Summer 2018 drop’s wares in a variety of settings. Mountainous terrain, desert-like valleys, traditional manufacturing techniques and more are all cited as influences for the latest “Transcend Borders” production. As Daily Paper reveals, the label’s forthcoming seasonal release embodies the concept of travel as a means of breaking cultural barriers and establishing meaningful connections.
