Smart ring manufacturer Oura is reportedly preparing for a September U.S. initial public offering that could value the company at more than $16 billion USD

The wearable health brand aims to raise up to $3 billion USD as projected annual sales approach the $2 billion USD mark

Oura is reportedly eyeing a US initial public offering as early as next month. The smart ring maker seeks to raise up to $3 billion USD in a listing that would value the operation at more than $16 billion. Existing investors are expected to offload a significant chunk of stock during the offering. The aggressive financial move follows a confidential IPO filing earlier this year and caps off a massive period of growth for the Finnish brand. Chief Executive Officer Tom Hale recently noted the company expects to generate close to $2 billion USD in revenue in 2026. This projection is driven by international expansion and heavily integrated artificial intelligence coaching features.

The wearable device has evolved from a niche biohacking tool into a mainstream health staple. The company has moved over 5.5 million units since its inception. Oura recently pushed deeper into preventative healthcare by introducing an AI chatbot alongside glucose monitoring and blood pressure research. The hardware sector is growing increasingly crowded. Samsung launched the Galaxy Ring to capture the Android ecosystem while fitness band rival Whoop recently pivoted to court a broader demographic with hormone tracking and blood-panel testing.
