Netflix has confirmed that Delicious in Dungeon will return for a highly anticipated Season 2 in October 2027. Based on Ryoko Kui’s award-winning, completed fantasy manga series, this upcoming continuation features the triumphant return of director Yoshihiro Miyajima, series composition editor Kimiko Ueno, character designer Naoki Takeda and iconic composer Yasunori Mitsuda.
To commemorate the announcement, Kadokawa debuted a new key visual showcasing Laios and his party venturing deeper into the labyrinth, with Falin in her chimera form sweeping across the right side of the image with Thistle, the Mad Mage riding on her back. Building on the success of Season 1, which blended inventive cooking sequences with high‑stakes dungeon-crawling-RPG-style adventure, the new season promises to expand both the narrative scope and the imaginative food‑based worldbuilding that made the series a breakout hit.
